The Paana Project is Valkea Resources’ cornerstone exploration initiative located in the heart of Finland’s prolific Central Lapland Greenstone Belt (CLGB). With its immense untapped potential, the Paana Project represents a significant step toward next-generation gold discoveries.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Paana Project is strategically situated along key geological structures, including the Muusa and Hanhimaa shear zones. Similar north-trending shear zones are renowned for hosting world-class gold deposits, including the nearby 9 Moz Kittilä Mine, Europe’s largest gold-producing mine, and Rupert Resources’ Ikkari deposit.
Key Highlights:
- Aarnivalkea West Zone: A +1.3 km gold-bearing corridor with significant bulk-tonnage and high-grade gold mineralization potential.
- Similar north-trending shear zones are renowned for hosting world-class gold deposits: including Agnico Eagle’s nearby 9 Moz Kittilä Mine—Europe’s largest gold-producing operation—and Rupert Resources 4 Moz Ikkari deposit.
- Extensive Base-of-Till Anomalies: Defined geochemical trends with multiple high-priority targets yet to be fully explored.
- Successful 2025 Drilling Program: Confirmed Ikkari-style bulk-tonnage and high-grade Kittila-style mineralization in multiple zones.

AARNIVALKEA EAST
Located just east of Aarnivalkea West, Aarnivalkea East represents a highly prospective exploration area with limited drilling but substantial potential.
Exploration Highlights
- Base-of-Till Anomalies:
- A 3.6 km-long gold-in-till anomaly with numerous samples exceeding 0.5 g/t Au, peaking at 10.7 g/t Au.
- Elevated arsenic (As), antimony (Sb), and copper (Cu) geochemistry associated with gold anomalies.
- Initial Drill Results:
- Limited shallow drilling has returned encouraging results, with mineralization remaining underexplored at depth.
Exploration Upside:
- Mineralization remains underexplored, with many till holes not reaching bedrock due to variable coverage.
- Future programs will target near-surface mineralization and follow-up on promising anomalies.
Valkea Resources continues to position itself at the forefront of gold exploration in Finland’s highly prospective Central Lapland Greenstone Belt, with an aggressive exploration strategy and growing resource potential.
